Clear Creek Springs Ranch is located 11 miles West of Menard, TX
approximately 1.5 hours away from San Angelo.
Clear Creek Springs Ranch is the epitome of Texas Hill Country ambiance with an exquisite German-inspired stone lodge nestled on 1,000 acres beside a private, spring-fed lake. Kayaks, boogie boards, and a John boat are available for fishing and outdoor water activities. Out lake is set for catch and release or catch and eat
(no hunting allowed).
OUR HOUSE
Our Ranch lodge is approximately 7,000 square feet can accommodate up to 10 guests with 5 Bedrooms, 6 Full Bathrooms, and Kitchen. Bedding and toiletries provided. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking necessities sufficient to satisfy the most discerning family chef. You will be able to relax in the Great Living Room with a working fireplace (wood available), overlooking the private lake and have dinner in our Dining Room. A large veranda overlooks the private lake to provide each guest a "special place" to enjoy the privacy and tranquility offered at Clear Creek Springs Ranch.
The Master Bedroom has a beautiful terrace that overlooks Clear Creek Springs Lake.
OUR PROPERTY

Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, etc. You are welcome to cook a delicious meal for your family and friends!

Private Lake
Clear Creek Springs is a spring fed lake that you have private access to fish, kayak , John boat,
and paddle board.
Housekeeping
Cleaning fees are included with your rental price for our housekeeper to come after your departure. While you are here, you are responsible for your own housekeeping.
Activities
Non motorized water sports are allowed. On site, there is a canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board available. Fishing is allowed - catch and release only.
Nature Walk
Clear Creek Ranch is home to many old Oak trees that make the perfect spot to relax, read, and disconnect. You are welcome to walk around the property!

We highly recommend the Lazy Ladle Cafe in Menard, TX.
River Tubing
Tubing the river in Texas is a summer tradition! Find a spot near Llano or Junction to rent some tubes and go have some fun!
Leisure Activities
This is a wonderful spot to relax and do NOTHING! Grab a book and enjoy the breeze through the trees. The yard is well maintained and shady!
Yoga
You can talk to the property manager about scheduling a private group session next to the lake or bring your mat to enjoy doing yoga in nature!
Visit Historic Sites
Fort McKavett State Park and Presidio de San Saba are very close and are wonderful sites to explore.

HISTORY
Historic Clear Creek Ranch has been a favored occupation site for hundreds of years. Dozens of metates (Indian corn grinders) drilled into the native stones speak to hundred of years of Native American occupation.
Then in 1756-1758, Spaniards as part of their efforts to convert the Indians, harnessed the bountiful flow of the Clear Creek Spring (approximately 10 million gallons per day) to irrigate the farms feeding the missionaries and solders at Santa Cruz de San Saba
